After years of conflict, Lil Tay's mother finally reached an agreement with the social media star's father. This ultimately may mean that finally, Lil Tay fans can see her once more in her social media, doing all sorts of antics they missed seeing.

The new $275K agreement demonstrates that the embattled parties now have a legal understanding of who will have custody of the social media star and where she will live.

The child influencer will live with her mother Angela, who will have sole decision-making authority, according to a statement posted on her behalf on social media. The little influencer was the target of a horrible hoax that claimed she and her brother had perished after her social media accounts were hacked.

On behalf of Tay's mother Angela, the Lil Tay Instagram account published a statement on Friday from their legal team, Lorne MacLean K.C. and Fraser MacLean of MacLean Law.

According to the statement, the teen's father, Christopher Hope, will make monthly payments until she is 18 and then $275,000 in retroactive child support.

Tay, 14, became famous when she was nine by flashing large sums of cash, using foul language, and instigating arguments with other social media celebrities.

Her father obtained a court order in 2018 asking her to cease producing internet content and travel back to her native Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. "We have been asked to clarify media confusion as to the current state of the family law proceedings, including custody, child parenting, and child support," the MacLean legal statement started.

According to the statement, which stated: "MacLean Law successfully obtained orders for our client that have enabled her daughter to advance her career," Lil Tay's career appears to be able to resume at last with Angela in full charge.

As one of the orders stated, "Sole day-to-day and final decision-making powers and responsibilities in the best interest for Tay Tian for Ms. Tian," it went on to provide a little more information about Angela's role. Christopher, Tay's father, stated in an interview with Hollywood Life in October 2018 that "everyone else involved in this situation is motivated by money and the potential to make money off of my daughter." I'm not in this struggle for the money; I'm in it for my kid, for her future and for her happiness.

Tay's social media profiles have been inactive ever since. The vulgar films that propelled her to internet prominence were credited to her elder half-brother Jason, who is now 21.
