Britney Spears' upcoming autobiography, "The Woman in Me," has stirred excitement, but her legal team is not so enthused.
The highly anticipated book from the 41-year-old pop princess is set to be released on October 24, with many expecting it eagerly.
But, reports suggest that Laura Wasser, Spears' attorney, and well-known divorce lawyer, may be apprehensive about the manuscript being made public following her breakup.
Radar Online gained insight from an insider on Britney's autobiographical story, which revealed a happy ending. What was found in the manuscript was like a real-life fairytale.
According to it, Britney had discovered her true love in Sam and considered him her soulmate.
Britney's lawyer, Laura Wasser, is petrified that the unfinished manuscript could be released before being revised and potentially used against her client in the divorce proceedings.
"Should Britney have been unfaithful to Sam but an entirely alternate account appears in her book. It would prove catastrophic."
The insider expressed their opinion that the timing of the split to coincide with the biography was a disastrous move.
They continued, stating that this circumstance could give leverage to someone like the fitness trainer, potentially allowing him to walk away with an advantageous outcome.
Sam has reportedly been expressing to his circle of friends that Britney may have betrayed him with one of the workers at their home.
Sources claim he stumbled upon video footage allegedly showing the "Baby One More Time" singer engaging in a questionable activity with this male employee, as reported by TMZ.
Sources close to them have said that while it was a long time coming, video footage ended things between the actor and his 14-month marriage. It appears their relationship had been deteriorating for some time.
Britney Spears, Sam Asghari Over
Gossip outlets have been buzzing with rumors that Britney Spears' estranged husband has threatened to reveal compromising material about the pop star unless their prenup is revisited.
Rumors have been floating that Sam might be challenging the prenup and using videos as a weapon against his ex-wife.
Thankfully, these claims have proven to be false. Sam's rep released a statement on behalf of Sam indicating that he harbors no ill will towards her whatsoever and always has - and always will - support her.
Wednesday was the beginning of divorce proceedings for Sam Asghari and Spears. This marks a second failed marriage venture for the pop star, following her annulment to Jason Alexander in 2004 and her divorce from Kevin Federline three years later.
On Thursday, Sam released a statement regarding their separation.
"After six years of love and commitment to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together," Sam shared. "We will hold onto our love and respect for each other, and I wish her the best always."
He concluded by stating, "S--- happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous [sic], so I will ask everyone, including the media, to be kind and thoughtful."
