Doja Cat has been working in the music industry for years now and has released numerous projects throughout her career, however, she recently revealed her future plans of venturing out into other things and in order to do this, she's willing to drop making music.
The Grammy Award-winning musician recently spoke with Harper's Bazaar as a part of their September issue cover story.
In the conversation, the "Kiss Me More" songstress, who is set to release her new album "Scarlet" soon, told the interviewer that she wanted to "branch out" into other kinds of projects.
Some of the fields that she wanted to explore are clothing, makeup, but one of her main goals is acting.
"I want to explore acting... I would love to do movies that I believe in," she told the outlet.

However, for her to be focused on the world of acting, she's willing to take a break from music.
"I would have to stop the music for a minute. But I would be down to immerse myself in acting for a certain period of time," she added.
Regarding the genres she wanted to try, Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, said she loves comedies and action movies.
In addition, she also wanted to learn martial arts and star in movies like "John Wick."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Doja Cat opened up about her upcoming album titled "Scarlet." She already released the first single off the record called "Attention" a few months ago.
Speaking about the new song, she told the outlet that it's an "intro track" or a teaser to her supporters of what's to come in the future.
"This new album is more introspective, but I'm not leaning so hard into that to where it becomes boring," she said of "Scarlet."
Doja Cat then noted that she wanted to give her fans a deep meaning behind her songs like putting stories behind it, but at the same time, she wanted incorporate "bops" for it to be balanced and a perfect mixture.
The 27-year-old songstress is excited for the project as it was a "fun canvas" for her that eplored her skills in rap as well as sharing stories about her personal life.
She also clarified that the new album won't "abandon" her past self as she still knows a lot behind pop and singing.
