Britney Spears might turn her heartbreak into music.

Spears and her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, are gearing up to finish their divorce proceedings soon after the hunk filed for the dissolution of their marriage due to "irreconcilable differences."

The singer, for her part, keeps her head high that she is now reportedly preparing to make her music comeback.

Britney Spears' Music Comeback

An unnamed source told The Sun's Simon Boyle that Spears has been privately plotting a musical comeback by starting to write lyrics for new songs. The Las Vegas associate said she has been working on it for the past three years while dealing with her conservatorship and her recent divorce.

"Initially it was freeing herself from the conservator-ship and now it's about Sam and her splitting," the insider said. "Sony has been talking to her for two years about creating a new record in her new era of life."

The music giant reportedly gave her access to writers and producers so she could record potential hit songs soon. Per the source, Spears already hinted at her new music, so it would come soon.

The report added that the "Toxic" singer could earn $4 million when she officially marks her return, and her project could include new material.

The associate said that, currently, both parties are already in talks to make the project and release it following her most recent album, "Glory," in 2019.

Britney Spears Debuts New Tattoos

Following her divorce from Asghari, Spears seemingly threw shade at someone when she debuted a snake tattoo near her lower back.

She got two more inks a day after receiving the new snake tattoo, including a pink star tattoo near the inside of her right arm and something on her right ring finger.

Spears and Asghari have yet to share the status of their divorce, but insiders recently said the estranged couple reportedly decided to move on a few weeks after the filing.

"Obviously it's never an easy thing to go through, but she's remaining positive and focusing on the future," an insider told People, adding that the pop superstar remains in great spirits amid the challenges in her life.

Amid the divorce, Spears also dealt with accusations that she cheated on Asghari, though her team has since debunked the buzz.
