Despite the high hype surrounding Beyonce's Los Angeles "Renaissance" concerts, some fans who had recently seen Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour at the same venue were rather unimpressed, noting a massive discrepancy in visibility.
It's no surprise that big-name touring artists are choosing the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood for their stopovers these days.
Just a few weeks ago, Taylor Swift finished up her US leg of the "Eras" Tour at this venue, and now Beyonce is performing there these past couple of nights.
Having the chance to attend concerts for both Beyonce and Taylor Swift, many fans were uniquely positioned to compare monitor systems.
After recounting their experiences, it became evident that some felt Beyonce's display was not as impressive as what they saw at Taylor's show. There may have been a few corners cut for Queen Bey's setup, according to TMZ.
No one can miss the impressive SoFi 360-degree, circular video board suspended in the stadium's center.
This modern marvel has LED screens that line its inside and outside surfaces, allowing even those seated in the furthest corner to enjoy whatever is happening on the field.
In videos posted by fans, people highlight how Taylor had a massive circular video board surrounding her while on stage and that every screen was illuminated.
At Beyonce's show, it was noticeable that only a single screen on the videoboard was powered on. This meant ticket holders located farther away were forced to view the performance with just two large monitors situated near her primary stage.

It's hard to deny that a few of Beyonce's clips were embarrassing, per the outlet, since people positioned in certain angles could hardly see the action from where they stood.
However, those attending Taylor Swift's event had a great view, even from the back, thanks to the circular video board that was set up.

Questions have been raised about why one artist's show was successful.
At the same time, the other wasn't, and many point to SoFi allegedly commanding fees of artists and their touring companies for running on-stage monitors as the root cause. This cost is not insignificant, TMZ said.
So far, the outlet's investigation has revealed no concrete proof that SoFi charges for this service or that the cost is then transferred to the musician. Nonetheless, it does raise some intriguing questions.
Considering this debate, it's no surprise that Taylor Swift and Beyonce fans are not seeing eye to eye on who has put on a superior live show.
