Remember last week when Demi Lovato teased some "really exciting news?" Today (Sept. 3), the "Really Don't Care" singer revealed what was behind her Twitter tease... a new skincare line. Lovato's foray into beauty product world Devonne by Demi will be released this December.
"So remember that exciting news.....???" Lovato tweeted. "#DevonneByDemi."
Soon, the 22-year-old linked to a People.com article about her new skincare line, officially brining the "exciting news" to her Lovatics.
"Ever since I was a young girl, I have always been about skincare for some reason," she said in her product announcement. "When you take time to do things for yourself like care for your skin, you feel the most confident."
According to the product's official website, Devonne by Demi will arrive as a monthly three-step kit. It includes a "hydrating protection mist," deep facial cleanser and moisturizing primer. The cleaner and primer feature a sweet lemon and peppermint scent, while the mist smells of lavender and chamomile.
According to People, a starter kit is $29.99 for a month subscription, and the proceeds will go toward the Lovato Treatment Scholarship.
Though Devonne by Demi won't go on sale until December, pre-orders are ongoing.
The skincare line is not Lovato's first dive into the beauty world. The singer has also teamed up with The New Black for a line of nail polish kits, available through Ulta. She's also this season's spokeswoman for Skechers.
