David Foster, Katharine McPhee's Son's Nanny Dead After Tragic Accident
The Los Angeles Police Department shared a statement to UsWeekly Magazine, confirming that an 84-year-old woman drove a car in the dealership company's reception area.
Unfortunately, Calito, who was 55 years old, was pinned under the car and was dragged for 20 feet. She was later hospitalized in critical condition.
The nanny did not survive her injuries as she was pronounced dead.
The dealership company has since released a statement regarding the incident as Megan Maybee, the company's director of communications said, "We extend our deepest condolences to Yadira's family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time."
In late August, a source told the outlet that McPhee was devastated over the death of Calito as she was very close with all of them and had become a part of their family.
The insider further noted that McPhee was doing their best to support the nanny's family.
Since the couple's son, Rennie, was still very young, the source said the singer was not leaving the side of him because he still couldn't absorb what happened.
