After releasing several chart-topping hits, Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B might be working towards a full-length project along with an accompanying tour.

"I literally think that's the route that we're going," Thee Stallion said in an interview. "So I've done two songs for her. And now I feel like I'm in a space where I know exactly what songs I want her to do for me. So we're really building a little EP already."

The "Body" and "Bodak Yellow" rappers have collaborated on two songs for far, 2020's "WAP " (which is an acronym for Wet-A* P***y) and the recently released song "Bongos."

"We're gonna have enough music that we need to go on tour together. Me and [Cardi B] going out together will be so amazing. We are already so cool. And I feel like we got similar fans.

"So if she wanted to do a little EP, I would definitely be so down to do that, but we are making enough music to already have that."

Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B Fans Want Joint Album, Tour

After hearing about the possibility of having a joint album from the two rappers, fans flocked to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their excitement and support for the project.

"I love their duo," a fan wrote.

"They need each other like I been saying!"

"I f**king knew it!" Another added.

"This would be a masterpiece! There's a pure bond between these two and it's beautiful. No. 1 rap duo ever," one wrote with heart emojis.

The huge support towards Thee Stallion and Cardi B comes from the equally huge success their music and career has gained throughout the years.

"WAP" received widespread critical acclaim for its sex-positive message. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and received the largest opening streaming week for a song in music history in the United States.

Meanwhile, "Bongos" was not as successful as its predecessor. It peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 4 on Billboard's Hot R&B/ Hip-hop Songs chart.

Megan Thee Stallion Bounces Back

"Bongos" is Thee Stallion's first release since her 2022 album "Traumazine," which was inspired by her own personal experience and trauma.

This is why the new release is something that the rapper is celebrating, "I feel like I'm finally closing all the old chapters and now I'm starting with a blank slate," she said.
