Was Fergie's fame too much for Josh Duhamel?
The "Transformers" actor reflected on his marriage with the Black Eyed Peas singer during his appearance at the "In Depth With Graham Bensinger" podcast, and it seems like it was.
"I don't think I ever really got comfortable with all of it," Duhamel admitted, referring to his divorce from Fergie in 2019. "I just missed the simplicity of who I really am, you know?"
The actor and Fergie got married in 2009, welcomed their son in 2013, and called it quits by 2017; their divorce was finalized in 2019.
"I'm just not a guy who is comfortable going to red carpets. Doing all the Hollywood stuff," he added, noting that he and the "Gorgeous" singer did not divorce with bad blood.

Fergie, Josh Duhamel's Co-Parenting Situation
According to USA Today, the singer and "The Shotgun Wedding" actor are working together as co-parents to their son, Axl.
"It was really important both for she and I to make sure that we put aside (our) differences for his benefit. Fergie has been great," Duhamel explained.
She's a really good mom to Axl, and we just have a good working relationship as far as raising our son together. I'm actually really, really lucky because I've seen cases that aren't like that."
Elsewhere in the podcast, Duhamel also explained that he prefers living under the radar, specifically in North Dakota, where he is from.
He also described what it was like being a celebrity: "Hollywood and L.A. and that whole lifestyle can suck the soul out of you if you're not careful."
"That's why Audra's so great for me. We're both hardcore North Dakotans...We both love lake life. We both love family. We both love kids."
