According to exclusively obtained photos by Page Six, Sophie Turner was spotted leaving early at around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, as she finished her first mediation session with her estranged husband, Joe Jonas.

Meanwhile, the Jonas Brother was spotted exiting the building in an SUV at the back serviceway, 2 hours later than Turner.

The outlet described the two looking downcast and somewhat exhausted as they finished their almost 10-hour mediation session.

According to insiders, Jonas hopes that he and Turner will end the week on "better terms."

"Joe is committed to making it work with Sophie in mediation and doesn't want to put up a fight - as long as they can come to a fair agreement on the kids," an insider dished.

The outlet also reported that the couple's lawyers met earlier this week to hash out their biggest concern which was the custody plan for their daughters.

According to The New York Post, a date for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' trial has been set for next year. As early as Jan. 2, the couple will face the Manhattan Federal Court.

According to the outlet, Turner's legal camp argued that a trail date must be set as early as possible as Turner had to go to England for a new project, asserting that the case should have been resolved by then.

"We have young kids, and we have the petitioner who is here now in the United States, but she has work commitments in the UK in January," the lawyer claimed.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner released a joint statement last September, announcing their separation.

"After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," they said in a joint statement at the time. "There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
