Offset opened up about what helped him get through such a tough year following the sudden and tragic death of his cousin and best friend Takeoff, as well as the feud between himself and Quavo.

"Them being able to be close to me and to hold me tight because I needed family for a long time, man," the rapper revealed, referring to his children as well as his wife, Cardi B.

Apparently, after Takeoff's death last year, not only was Offset so affected emotionally and mentally, but he was also feeling creatively drained and dry.

"People think everything is peaches and creams with an artist," he explained. You go through mental things, you go through things with your family, you go through confidence things, you go through creative block."

However, now that he has recovered and has gotten back on his feet, Offset is ready to start a new chapter of his life with a new album called "Set It Off."

Offset, Quavo End Feud

Aside from the death of his cousin taking a toll on him, Offset also had another thing going on with another family member-Quavo.

Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff were a rap trio, Migos, until it all fell apart last year. Quavo and Takeoff went on to release music as a duo while Offset went solo.

Following Takeoff's death, he and Quavo ended their feud and made amends.

"That's my brother at the end of the day," the rapper said about his relationship with his former Migos member and uncle. "We're good, though, bro. We were just with each other in Paris. We be talking because we be going through emotions and s**t with this s**t."

Offset on Quavo Collab

Despite fans hoping for a clear form of reconciliation between the two rappers, like maybe a collab song, Offset had to remind them that it would take them some more time to get there.

"It ain't fair to put that pressure on us either after losing a brother," Offset explained. "Maybe, you know what I'm saying, in the future. Right now, I just don't see it. It's hard for me hearing our songs sometimes in the club, bro."

As of this writing, it seems like Offset and Quavo have finally set their feud aside and put Takeoff's legacy and memory first.
