Britney Spears has long been gearing toward the release of her highly-awaited memoir, "The Woman In Me." The tell-all book would serve as her biggest revelations so far since she underwent her controversial conservatorship which was placed by her father.
Now, it has been revealed whom she has recruited to play the huge role of narrating herself in her memoir - it's Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Williams.
Britney Spears Recruits Michelle Williams As 'The Woman In Me' Narrator
According to People Magazine, they can now exclusively confirm that Britney Spears recruited Michelle Williams as her narrator for the audiobook version of her memoir, "The Woman In Me."
"This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it," the Pop Princess shared in a statement to the publication. "Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook."
According to the "Toxic" singer, she is "so grateful" to the "amazing Michelle Williams" to read a huge part of the memoir.
In a statement shared to the publication, Williams also echoed Spears' fans' chant during her grueling conservatorship - "I stand with Britney."
Notably, Britney Spears is dishing out some pretty huge revelations in her upcoming memoir.
She promised to reveal "for the first time her incredible journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history," as she "illuminates the enduring power of music and love - and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms."
Britney Spears will be releasing her audiobook on Oct. 24, 2023, the same day that she releases her memoir, along with the other versions of it through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.
Because of this partnership, Variety reports that Britney Spears might be raking in a total of $15 million for this "record-breaking" deal that launched a bidding war among multiple publishers in the country.
