Venezuelan DJ Aérea Negrot, who also previously served as Hercules And Love Affair singer, has died at the age of 43.
BPitch Berlin confirmed the death of Aérea Negrot, born Danielle Gallegos, in an Instagram post on Saturday, October 13. The label managed Aérea Negrot's career in the country.
"We're beyond heartbroken over the passing of our treasured and brilliant Danielle," the statement continued. "Her light, music and beautiful uplifting voice, her one-of-a-kind artistic approach and performance have touched every soul they have ever encountered."

The BPitch also expressed its gratitude in the statement after having the chance to work with Aérea Negrot before her death, adding that everyone on the label will miss her.
The update did not disclose Aérea Negrot's cause of death, but it received outpouring messages from fans in the comments section.
One said, "I'll never forget your kindness welcome in our re-encounter in Berlin ! I just can't believe it ! Few weeks ago I saw your nice post for your performances beginning of October ! Please say hello to Frank up there in heaven where you belong ! An Angel like you will turn into a star."
"Such a talent, she will be missed. It was an honor to have known her & to have worked with her. Rest in peace, your music will shine forever," another wrote.
Meanwhile, her friends launched a GoFundMe page to help her bereaved family following her passing.
Alexander Carrillo, the representative of Aérea Negrot's friends, revealed that they aim to cover the expenses of the funeral service and bureaucratic processes. The fund will also be used to buy flight tickets for her grandmother and mother so they can be with the singer-songwriter in Berlin.
The remaining money will be given to her bereaved family.
They set €5,000 ($5,200) as the goal, but it has already raised €13,186 ($13,186) as of press time.

Aérea Negrot's Career Explored
Aérea Negrot launched her career in the music industry when she was 17 after marking her first performance in Amsterdam's Central Station. She soon joined the London Center of Contemporary Music and began expanding her career.
Before her death, she was able to collaborate with other artists like Billie, Ray Martin, Matias Aguayo and System of Survival.
