Kanye West recently took a break from whatever he was doing in Australia to ball out at a gym in Perth.
Wearing a white tee with above-the-knee shorts and killer grey kicks, ‘Ye hit the court looking fresh. It’s important to note that nobody has reported on whether he played well or not, but we do have a quartet of excellent photos from @TeamKanyeDaily on Instagram.
The first one depicts a smiling Yeezus practicing a steady dribble:
Then he goes into “ball so hard” mode, trying (and failing) to shake some Australian dude.
Check out that final frame again. Could anyone look more disinterested while playing a game than Kanye?
While we’re on the topic, ‘Ye is definitely the dude at the rec who refuses to pass, misses several jumpers, calls phantom fouls and then doesn’t get back on ‘D’ while staring down an imaginary ref.
None of that can be substantiated by video or photo evidence, but you know it’s true.
Musically, West has been hard at work prepping a seventh studio album, but he also made sports news yesterday when CBS announced “Run This Town,” his 2008 collabo with Rihanna and Jay Z, will soundtrack this season of Thursday Night Football.
According to HotNewHipHop, the opener won't just include music from Jay, K and RiRi. The pre-game package will also include customized game openings featuring the rival teams, footage from an airplane hangar and narration from Don Cheadle.
