Olivia Rodrigo Sought Help From Jack White to Create 'GUTS' Album
Jack White, the owner of Third Man Records/Third Man Pressing, made a big contribution to Olivia Rodrigo's new album "GUTS."
As revealed in an interview with The New York Times back in August of 2023, the musician gushed over the legendary musician, saying he was one of her mentors in creating the album along with other singers like St. Vincent and Kathleen Hannah.
"He wrote me this letter the first time I met him that said, 'Your only job is to write music that you would want to hear on the radio,' I mean, writing songs that you would like to hear on the radio is in fact very hard," she recalled.
