Taylor Swift True Colors Revealed By Travis Kelce's Dad: 'She Did Not Get The Memo'

Ed Kelce, the father of Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce, has recently given his blessing to the singer.

After meeting the "Cruel Summer" vocalist for the first time at the Kansas City Chiefs game on October 12, Ed had nothing but respect for her.

In an interview with People on Monday, the father of two referred to Swift, 33, as "a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman."

Swift's intelligence, he added, "comes through right away."

The Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce's father Ed then recalled the "very special" time he discovered Swift was a "very genuine" person as opposed to a "diva."

"We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around," he explained. "Because in the suites, everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can."

He continued, "And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot."

Swift has frequently been photographed with Travis' mother Donna, but during the Chiefs' game against the Denver Broncos earlier this month, Swift was seen conversing with Ed for the first time.

While Ed withheld what the two were discussing, the singer undoubtedly made an effect because a few days later, the patriarch of the Kelce family was seen following a Taylor Swift Instagram account.

Swift and Kelce's affections for one another appear to be growing, therefore it is fortunate that the father has a lot of positive things to say. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exited his Kansas City Chiefs game together yesterday for the first time in weeks-and even displayed some PDA.

According to sources who spoke to The Messenger, Swift and Kelce's relationship is developing into something more than simply a passing affair as Swift is taking a break from her Eras Tour. Swift and Kelce were seen holding hands as they left Kansas City, Missouri's Arrowhead Stadium after the Kansas City Chiefs' 31-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

In a further display of her love and support for the NFL tight end, Swift wore a bracelet bearing Kelce's jersey number 87.
