Britney Spears just released her new memoir and it just didn't slam her family members, her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, and other peers involved in her life, but she also called out famed host Ryan Seacrest for his actions years ago.

In the newly-published book titled "The Woman in Me," the Princess of Pop noted that the radio/television program host questioned her skills as a parent.

"Ryan Seacrest asked me questions like 'How do you respond to those who criticize you as a mom?' and 'Do you feel like you're doing everything you can for your kids?' and 'How often will you see them?'" she wrote in the book.

Later on, she revealed that she was in the radio show to talk about her new album at the time titled "Blackout," but she felt that there was a different agenda in her conversation as the people wanted to know if whether she was a "fit mother."

"Not about how I'd made such a strong album while holding two babies on my hips and being pursued by dozens of dangerous [paparazzi] all day every day," she added. (via Page Six)

As of this writing, Ryan Seacrest has not commented on the matter, but the outlet noted that he went on to interview the pop singer several times after the said conversation about parenting.

Britney Spears Life As A Mother

Per the outlet, Britney Spears was previously married to her husband Kevin Federline and they share two children together named Sean Preston and Jayden, ages 18 and 17 respectively.

Federline, who was a former backup dancer and now a DJ, was granted the sole legal and physical custody of their two kids in 2008.

At the time, Spears didn't have a chance to become a mother to her children as she was placed under a psychiatric ward.

One month later, she was placed under a conservatorship that lasted over 13 years.

Britney Spears Reveals Why She Agreed to be Placed Under a Conservatorship

Elsewhere in the newly-published book, Spears went on to discuss the main reason why she agreed to be placed under a conservatorship even though it took over her freedom when it comes to finances, fashion, diet, and even medication.

She wrote in the book that she did it for her two children, writing, "Because I played by the rules, I was reunited with my boys."
