Despite her resolve to not "live in fear," Linda Nolan has disclosed that she is experiencing memory loss as a result of her cancer treatment.

Before receiving the all-clear in 2006, the 64-year-old singer was diagnosed with stage-three breast cancer in 2005. However, before the disease moved to her liver in 2020 and then to her brain earlier this year, she was diagnosed with incurable secondary cancer in her hip in 2017.

As she battles the illness, Linda has now talked candidly about her memory loss. She mentioned forgetting her niece Ciara's name.

'I had to turn to Coleen's son Jake's girlfriend and ask her what my niece, Coleen's daughter, is called,' the woman revealed in The Mirror. "My memory has been failing for some time, but that particular instance was the worst it has gotten."

However, Linda stated that despite her difficulties, she will not "panic" or "live in fear" and that she instead wants to make the most of her time with her loved ones.

She persisted, "I'm not going to panic because cancer wins if I panic." "I have to focus on living in the present and not let fear rule my life," the singer shared.

In a sorrowful statement, Linda also said that she is accepting the possibility that she may not see Coleen Nolan's daughter Ciara again because her niece is traveling in January.

Recently, Linda expressed her doubts about surviving cancer for a third time, stating that it has become a "way of life" for her. Noting that her journey 'runs straight ahead' for the time being, the TV personality claimed she wasn't 'mad' with her fate and that everyone is on their own 'pathways' on the 'chemo ward conveyor belt'.

As part of an update on her fight with cancer, Linda disclosed in March that the disease had progressed to her brain.

Doctors informed her that, almost 20 years after her initial cancer diagnosis, she had two large masses encircled by smaller ones on her brain.

Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and endured 18 rounds of chemotherapy along with a mastectomy. Linda received a diagnosis of incurable secondary cancer in her hip in 2017 and confirmed her liver cancer in 2020.

With The Nolans, which featured her sisters Anne, 71, Denise, 69, Maureen, 67, and Coleen, 57, Linda became well-known. Bernie, her 52-year-old sister, was a member as well. She passed away in 2013 from breast cancer. After a prior diagnosis, Anne is currently in remission from breast cancer.
