Arnez Blount, better known by his stage name C-Knight, of hip hop group The Dove Shack, has died.
According to a family member who spoke to TMZ, they made the heartbreaking decision to take him off life support after the rapper had been admitted for a stroke in recent weeks.
It was a shocking revelation when news emerged in mid-October that C-Knight had been admitted to hospital due to dangerously high blood sugar levels.
Unexpectedly, as he underwent dialysis at the hospital, an unfortunate stroke was suffered, and his heart ceased to beat.
The medical team was able to revive him, yet he remained in a comatose state, with no sign of improvement, according to what the doctors had told his family. Life support was implemented.
The MRI was a vital test for which the family of C-Knight was eagerly awaiting the results. Despite the uncertain outcome that could lay ahead, they chose to remain positive and hopeful throughout the process.
In the 1990s, a hip-hop act called The Dove Shack made considerable waves in West Coast G-Funk music; they were right up there alongside heavyweights like Warren G and Snoop Dogg.
