Spears and Timberlake first met when they were young actors in the Disney show "Mickey Mouse Club," and their romance blossomed when they entered their adulthood.

The *NSYNC member has maintained his silence amid the controversy, but his bandmate Lance Bass gave an update on how Timberlake is doing today.

In an interview with People Magazine, the singer was asked how his bandmate is following the release of the pop princess' book.

Although Bass didn't give much away, he assured fans that his good pal is doing great.

"Yes, we're all good... People will survive," he said.

Lance Bass Belives Fans Should Forgive Justin Timberlake As Britney Spears Already Forgave Him

His recent statement comes a few weeks after Lance Bass spoke with a news outlet to tell fans that they should forgive Justin Timberlake amid their controversy as Britney Spears already forgave him for his actions.

"I feel like the world is so full of hate right now and we need to practice a little forgiveness. Britney did. Let's take a note from her," he said at the time.

The singer and podcast host further noted that people deserves to share their story and it was what the pop star did, so he's hoping that people would find "some forgiveness."

Regarding Timberlake's reaction, a source spoke with the Daily Mail UK last where it was revealed that the musician has not reached out to his ex-girlfriend about the issues and he doesn't intend to because "there is nothing he can say to her."

Justin Timberlake Goes on a Vacation With Family

Amid the issue, the Daily Mail UK shared pictures of the musician with his wife, Jessica Biel, and their children during their vacation in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

The overseas vacation marked the actor/singer's first outing since the memoir was released.

At the time, the outlet noted that Timberlake seemed to be anxious and tensed while the rest of his family enjoyed a good time under the sun.
