Wynonna Judd recently took the stage of this year's CMA Awards where she performed with Jelly Roll. However, fans noticed that there was something off with her body language and it quickly became a topic of interest on social media.
Immediately after the story went viral, the country legend took to her official TikTok account to clarify things about her performance and explained what truly happened and why she acted that way while singing.
In the clip, the musician said she's "gonna come clean" with her fans, adding that she "was so freaking nervous."
Upon going out on stage to perform the song "Need a Favor," she looked at Jelly Roll and she wanted the performance to be good for him.
"I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I'm not going to because I'm such a fan of his, and he asked me to sing, and I said, 'Absolutely!'" (via Page Six)
She later noted that she will travel back to Texas to continue the current run of her "Back to Wy Tour."
Wynonna Judd Fans Noticed Something 'Off' in her Performance With Jelly Roll
The recent news comes after fans pointed out that there was something off in Wynonna Judd's performance with Jelly Roll at the CMA Awards which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
There were some speculations about what truly happened to her and there were even fans who alleged that she might be "drunk or unhealthy." Some people also noted that she might suffered from vertigo.
In addition, there were people who noticed that her energy is low when she sang and her hand appeared to be clinging on Jelly Roll's jacket.
This wasn't the first time the musician felt unwell on stage. Earlier this year, the singer had to stop her concert for a while because she felt "dizzy" and asked someone to come up on stage to help her.
She later told concertgoers that she was "really dehydrated" and had a hard time so she paused her show. (via Entertainment Tonight)
Regardless, Wynonna Judd finished her performance despite what she felt that evening.
