Later on, he noted that he attempted to film the video he shared several times before he was able to finalize it as he was too emotional to do so.

"I haven't cried like this since my daddy died... I love y'all, man ... so f*****' much," he added.

Jelly Roll Embarrassed to Post Grammy Nomination Reaction

In the caption, he told his followers that he was embarrassed to post the clip but his wife, Bunny XO, told him to do so as it shows his "honesty and rawness."

"I'll post a more complete thought about this when I get my head together. I just never would've imagined," he noted.

Per the outlet, Jelly Roll is one of the nominated artists under the all-genre category of Best New Artist. In addition, he also has a shot to win the Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his collaboration with Lainey Wilson titled "Save Me."

Jelly Roll Won BIG at the 2023 CMAs

The Grammy nomination comes a few days after the musician attended the CMA Awards this year where he opened and closed the program.

He performed alongside Wynonna Judd for the track "Need a Favor" and for the final performance of the evening, he teamed up with K. Michelle to sing a rendition of the Judds' song, "Love Can Build a Bridge."

At the time of the ceremony, which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, he won the New Artist of the Year.

In an interview following the event, he spoke to the press and revealed that he lived in the moment that night and didn't touch his phone at all.
