Victoria Monet has a lot to celebrate this year: not only did she release her well-received and highly successful debut studio album, "Jaguar II," but she is also getting her flowers while she is at it.
According to reports, the "On My Mama" singer received seven Grammy nominations from the Recording Academy-including her daughter, Hazel Monet, who is hailed as the youngest person to be nominated for a Grammy.
Monet brought her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter in to record her song "Hollywood" alongside herself and the iconic music group, Earth, Wind & Fire.
"I'm so proud of her, but she has no idea. She's just on the phone watching Baby Shark, chilling, while we're all celebrating," the singer recalled sharing the news with Hazel.
"She's like, kind of panicking, because she doesn't know why we're all screaming. I know I'll be able to explain it to her when she gets older, and she'll definitely appreciate it because she's already into music and is starting to write songs unknowingly."
