The fact that Taylor Swift's dad was sporting a Kansas City Chiefs lanyard during his daughter's performance in Buenos Aires on Saturday night may be the best indication yet that the Travis Kalce has won over her father.
Although Scott Swift has always been a Philadelphia Eagles supporter, he obviously disregarded this as he wore Chiefs gear to the performance in Argentina.
Given his daughter's recent romantic involvement, it seems that he has developed a significant second team.
However, considering the rivalry between the two teams and the Swift family's open support of Philadelphia, it infuriated a portion of the Eagles fan base.
Although Taylor has publicly stated that she used to root for the Eagles, she has attended four Chiefs games this year to support Travis.

Even Swift's supporters joked that Travis and Scott would upset Jason Kelce, the elder Kelce sibling who also plays for the Eagles.
One fan posted a humorous photo of a sign outside a house that read "welcome home cheater" with the caption, "Eagles to Scott Swift after wearing the Chiefs lanyard," after seeing the images of the two guys circulating on social media.
Another said: "Look my guy Scott Swift from Southeastern PA feelin a little traitorous in that chiefs lanyard after the Eagles lost to them in the superbowl not even a year ago."
The majority of fans are now eager to hear Jason Kelce's thoughts, with one expressing on X that he "will have a rant ready about this!"
One person commented, "Oh Jason's gonna be maaaaaad," while another remarked that this week's New Heights podcast, which the Kelce brothers host, would be intense: "Legit can't wait to her Jason question this on the podcast."
Another fan pointed out that Scott's act of support is particularly noteworthy considering that just a few months prior, Travis and the Chiefs defeated Scott's Eagles squad in the Super Bowl earlier this year.
The Eagles lost both Taylor Swift and the Super Bowl to the Chiefs. "Philly big mad," a fan wrote.
To participate in on the applause at the restaurant and now be sporting a Chiefs lanyard when his team is the Eagles all the way, someone else said, "Scott Swift must adore this man."
During a performance earlier this year, Taylor herself clarified that the reference to the "Eagles" in her song "Gold Rush" refers to the NFL team rather than the band.
She sings, "I see me padding 'cross your wooden floors, with my Eagles t-shirt hanging from the door," in the song "Evermore" off the album.
If Scott Swift would support his daughter this way, who can blame him, anyway?
