Taylor Swift and Drake are two of the generation's best-selling, critically acclaimed, and chart-topping artists; they tied for the most career wins at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

According to reports, the most recent award night they earned the singer 10 trophies, while the rapper won five, which brings each of their totals to 39 Billboard Music Award wins.

The competition is tight between the two artists, as they have both won the top Billboard 200 albums twice; Swift with "Red" in 2012 and "1989" in 2015, while Drake with "Views" in 2017 and "Scorpion" in 2019.

The pair have also been vying for the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 for years, and most recently, the Canadian rapper gave the "Love Story" singer a shout-out in his song for being the only artist to make him reschedule an album's release.

Drake Gives Taylor Swift a Shout-Out

According to reports, in Drake's newly released song "Red Button," he touched on a controversial topic in regards to himself and Swift.

"Taylor Swift the only n***a that I ever rated/ Only one could make me drop the album just a little later/ Rest of y'all, I treat you like you never made it," he raps.

The alleged feud-which many claim to be one-sided happened last year when Drake shared a screenshot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with his songs occupying the No. 2 to No. 7 slots, however, he covered Swift's song, "Anti-Hero," which was in the No. 1 position.

Coincidentally, both Drake and Swift just released their albums, "Her Loss" and "Midnights," respectively.

Taylor Swift, Drake's Alleged Beef

According to Buzzfeed, the two have been vocal about their mutual respect and support for one another.

Swift name-dropped Drake in her 2019 song "I Forgot That You Existed" in the line "In my feelings more than Drake."

Drake has also shared a picture of him with his arm around the "Bejeweled" singer's shoulders on his Instagram with the caption, "They too soft to understand the meaning of hard work."

This is probably why Swift did not address the controversial screenshot he uploaded on Instagram, and she also did not respond to the newly released song, which includes the shout-out.

While from the outside, it seems like there is no feud between the two artists, their fans are very much in a constant state of war.
