Daddy Yankee Retirement
Last year, fans were surprised when Daddy Yankee, whose real name is Ramón Luis Ayala Rodriguez, announced that he will be retiring after spending decades in the music industry.
To celebrate his final era, he released a new album called "Legendaddy" and he launched a tour around the world.
"I always worked so I didn't fail you, so I didn't get into problems, with much discipline, to inspire the new generation to be leaders. Today, I'm announcing my retirement from music by giving you my best production and my best concert tour," he announced at the time.
Throughout his career, Daddy Yankee was able to bring the Reggaeton genre worldwide with his hit song "Gasolina" released in 2004. Thanks to that song, he brought Latin American music into the global spotlight.
