Justin Timberlake is one of the most controversial artists in the music scene right now for several reasons-that is exactly why BTS fans want him far, far away from Jungkook.
According to reports, the KPOP star tapped the *NSYNC boy bander for a special collaboration on the remix of his song "3D."
"This remix enhances the 2000s vibe of the old-school sound of the original version, infusing it with a retro charm," Jungkook said about the upcoming release.
The original version of the song featured Jack Harlow and was dropped in September as a single ahead of the release of his solo debut album. "Golden."
What should be perceived as exciting news was met with disappointment and dismay among BTS fans (ARMYs) online.
"The desperation this man has is INSANE..." One wrote about the upcoming collab song.
"Jungkook when he sees Zi*nists, pedos, women abusers, and overall the most untalented white men in the industry," another added.
"This man should win an award for desperation of the year," another wrote, referring to Timberlake.
ARMYs Side Eye Jungkook, Justin Timberlake Collab
According to reports, ARMYs blamed Jungkook's label and management for "failing to recognize the wrongs that Timberlake stands for."
South Korean fans complained about the collaborations, noting that Timberlake was tied to controversies in relation to Britney Spears as well as being problematic.
"Is HYBE f**king going to do their job like this? Can't you see that people are dragging Jungkook too with all sorts of curses? At this rate, it's not that they can't read the room, but they value money first."
Another report noted how the "Cry Me a River" singer shared his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict. He was named one of the many celebrities who shared their support of Israel.

Justin Timberlake Being 'Problematic'
Prior to the release of Spears' bombshell memoir, "The Woman in Me," Timberlake was put on blast by netizens after the "Toxic" singer revealed his abusive behavior towards her.
According to reports, the "Oops I Did It Again" singer accused Timberlake of "sleeping around" while they were in a relationship.
"There were a couple of times during our relationship when I knew Justin had cheated on me. Especially because I was so infatuated and so in love, I let it go, even though the tabloids seemed determined to rub my face in it," she wrote.
In another part of the memoir, Spears revealed that terminated her pregnancy with the singer's child because he claimed that they "weren't ready to have a baby" and that they were "way too young."
