Swifties are anticipating the next Taylor Swift album re-recording announcement today. As the global popstar caps off her final show this year, fans are dreading for the "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" release date announcement.

Taylor Swift is finishing her South American leg of "The Eras" Tour tonight at the Allianz Parque in Sao Paolo, Brazil. She has been performing since November 24 in the venue.

'Reputation (Taylor's Version) Release Date Announcement Trending

Over on Twitter, "Rep TV" has been trending with more than 3,000 tweets at the time as fans are convinced that Nov. 26, has some relevance.

Particularly, Taylor Nation, Swift's official fan account has "potentially hinted at an upcoming release."

Another piece of evidence that Swifties are clinging onto was the fact that Swift performed "New Romantics" (the only song she has never performed from "1989") on Aug. 9, 2023, the same day when she surprised everyone with the "1989 (Taylor's Version)" album release date announcement.

To date, she has yet to perform "I Did Something Bad," making it the only "Reputation" song she has not yet performed live.

While all of this was speculation, fans couldn't help but expect and wonder because Taylor Swift has always embedded and ingrained easter eggs and clues for her next moves in plain sight - and her passionate fans were always correct.

Taylor Swift National Cake Day Theory

Perhaps the biggest theory, and probably wildest piece of evidence that Swifties are theorizing is the "National Cake Day Theory."

According to Bustle, Taylor Swift has used random numbers and holidays to announce her re-recordings.

For example, she released "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" on Jul. 7, 2023, the National Koi Day, as the said fish has been tied with the said era too.

For the "National Cake Day" which falls Nov. 26, 2023. Fans recall Taylor Swift's "I Bet You Think About Me" music video, which sees Swift randomly smearing 11/26 on the cake icing. Although the music video was released years ago, fans couldn't help what the clue meant, up until now.

After her Brazil concert today, Swift will return to touring in February 2024. She will be performing for four days at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan, before heading to Melbourne and Sydney, and a six-day stint in Singapore in March 2024.
