Duane "Keefe D" Davis, a key suspect in the murder of Tupac Shakur, is facing a tumultuous legal battle as he vehemently rejects allegations and denounces the credibility of a crucial witness, Devonta Lee.

The "homie gone rouge" testified before a Grand Jury, asserting Keefe's involvement in the 1996 shooting, with the trial set for 2025.

Expressing anger at the need to address these claims, Keefe and his legal team aim to discredit former gang member Devonta's statements, citing his absence in Las Vegas during the incident and his incarceration at the time.

Keefe contends that Lee lacks sufficient knowledge of his life and circumstances.

The Testimony

As reported by The Sun, Devonta Lee, informed by his roommate Deandrae "Big Dre" Smith, alleges that Keefe D played a central role in the Tupac murder, providing the gun to Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, who allegedly shot the legendary rapper.

Devonta detailed testimony suggests Keefe's premeditated planning for that fateful night, even involving another gang leader, Eric "Von Zip" Martin, for obtaining a Glock pistol.

Prosecutors in the Las Vegas District Attorney's office rely on Devonta's evidence to build a case against Keefe.

Still, the latter's associates express fury, perceiving Devonta as attempting to tarnish Keefe's life for personal gain. The motive behind Lee's testimony remains unclear, as he was once part of the same environment and lifestyle.

Despite the animosity, Keefe's attorney assures him that Devonta's testimony may have limited impact, given its second-hand nature and Lee's absence from the scene.

Keefe D finds the situation messy, compounded by the challenge of discerning the truth from Big Dre's words, as Dre has since passed away.

Keefe D

Notably, Keefe has a history of discussing Tupac, breaking the unwritten code of not snitching prevalent among gang members.

Devonta Lee's Grand Jury testimony, uncovered by The Sun, provides crucial details about the events leading to Tupac's shooting, including the white Cadillac driven by Keefe and his crew being spotted in Compton days before the Vegas trip.

While Keefe has consistently claimed that "Baby Lane" Anderson shot Tupac, Devonta introduces a new perspective, suggesting it was Big Dre who pulled the trigger.

Devonta contends that Anderson, backed by Keefe, sought retribution for Tupac's earlier altercation with him at the MGM Grand Casino, making Dre the alleged shooter.

Devonta's courtroom narrative emphasizes the challenge of Lane, with a dislocated shoulder from Tupac's beating, attempting to shoot and Dre's intervention. Dre, weighing 370 pounds and standing at six-six, reportedly stated, "Basically, I'll take care of it," illustrating the complexity and intrigue surrounding Tupac's tragic death.
