Ice Spice has signed a deal with WME for global representation following her shot to fame in the past year. The Grammy-nominated rapper was catapulted to fame earlier this year - thanks to her viral hit that propelled her to great heights - Ice Spice is the most promising artist of the year.
Very recently, people online have speculated that Ice Spice is part of Nicki Minaj's upcoming "Pink Friday 2" album after she seemed to tease its release at the end of the week.
Ice Spice Inks Deal With WME
According to a Variety report, Bronx rapper Ice Spice has signed a deal with WME for global representation.
However, as of this writing, it is still not known what the deal contains as her label and management have not issued a statement about the agreement.
Among the artists that the company manages are Whoopi Goldberg, Ben Affleck, Jessica Alba, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kate Hudson, Hugh Jackman, John Krasinski, Jude Law, Jennifer Garner, Joaquin Phoenix, Michelle Williams, and even Denzel Washington, to name a few.
Musicians like Adele, Alicia Keys, Anderson .Paak, Doechii, Gwen Stefani, J Balvin, and Justin Timberlake, are also represented by the company.
Ice Spice Included In 'Pink Friday 2'?
Earlier today, Ice Spice tweeted this: "pink friday 2 this week" along with a peeking emoji, a pink ribbon, and pink hearts. Fans speculated that Ice Spice might be included on Minaj's new album as the official tracklist and feature list has yet to be announced.
The tweet is not a surprising revelation to people as Nicki Minaj has officially crowned Ice Spice as the Princess of Rap because of her promise and talent.
The two have collaborated on two tracks already - both reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Nicki Minaj hopped in on the "Princess Diana" remix which landed on No. 4 on the Hot 100.
Their Grammy-nominated collaboration, "Barbie World" with Aqua, has become a pop culture phenomenon as it was included on the "Barbie" movie soundtrack. It has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Written For Visual Media and Best Rap Song.
Notably, Ice Spice is also a frontrunner in the Best New Artist category, as she scored a Pop Duo/Group Grammy nomination for "Karma" with Taylor Swift.
