Thanks to his talent in singing and performing, Michael Jackson had been renowned as the King of Pop, but way before that, he started out as a simple musician at a very young age. Today, his earliest studio recording had been digitized and made available for the public to download.

According to Forbes, since the singer's career began over five decades ago, there have been recordings that the new generation has not heard yet, but thanks to the go-signal of his estate, a new track, or old rather, is being finally released digitally.

Titled "Big Boy (One-derful Version)," the track was said to have been recorded around 1967, this was way before Michael Jackson shot into stardom along with his brothers under the group Jackson 5.

Where to Listen to Michael Jackson's Earliest Recording?

Although it's being made public, fans will not be able to stream it on major music platforms like Spotify or Apple Music, and it also won't be available for purchase on iTunes.

The only way to gain access to the track is through a platform called anotherblock, which is a blockchain-music and royalty marketplace in Sweden.

Regarding its prices, fans can choose the first option, which is priced at $25. This package include the actual copy of the track, the stems, and a few photos from that era of Jackson's music.

The second version is more expensive coming in at $100 because it has more inclusions like a digital copy of the song. This is completely different from the first one as there will be nine more songs that were recorded in 1967.

How Was His Earliest Recording Tracked?

Per the outlet, the reason why the songs were able to make its way to the public was because of a journalist who did their best to track down the previously-lost songs.

In previous releases, it was pressed into a vinyl compilation, but this will be the first time it will be available for digital download.

The project was said to be the first time Michael Jackson ever sang into a microphone.

It also seemed that the Jackson estate gave rights for the songs to be released as the press release included a statement from Katherine Jackson, the late singer's mother.

"I can't believe his voice, along with his brothers', would echo for decades. Through anotherblock's endeavor, the Jackson family's initial recordings of our musical heritage find a new rhythm for the digital age," she stated.
