Nicki Minaj 'Pink Friday 2' An Instant Hit On iTunes, Apple Music Charts

Nicki Minaj's highly-anticipated "Pink Friday 2" has arrived in Gag City and it's everything we hoped for!

Minaj's acclaimed pen game is on fire again with 22 new tracks for her fifth album. Not more than a day since it debuted, the tracks are already overtaking the top of several charts.

Nicki Minaj 'Pink Friday 2' Charts Success

According to reports, Nicki Minaj has cemented her record as the rapper with the most No. 1 songs in iTunes history with 41 songs. Her collaboration with Drake, "Needle," currently takes that spot.

Similarly, all of the tracks of "Pink Friday 2" are currently occupying the spots on the Top 70 of iTunes. As nine of her tracks occupy the Top US Songs charts on iTunes, Jack Harlow's "Lovin On Me" is the only song from another album that is on the Top 10.

"Pink Friday 2," the original album is currently No. 1 on the Top US Albums, while the clean version of the album sits at No. 2. Meanwhile, Tate McRae's "Think Later" settled at No. 3.

Over to Apple Music, "Pink Friday 2" is also doing exceptionally well - eight of her tracks occupy the Top 10 US Songs. This time, her Billie Eilish-sampled and FINNEAS-produced track "Are You Gone Already" sits at No. 1 while, Jack Harlow's "Lovin' On Me" and Mariah Carey's perennial hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You" settled at No. 2 and No. 4," respectively. Notably, the album is the No. 1 album in the United States.

Meanwhile, on Spotify, the platform changed its header for the "teen beats" playlist to Timothee Chalamet, a known Nicki Minaj fan, going to the fictional kingdom of Gag City. Spotify has crashed minutes after Minaj released "Pink Friday 2."

Recent chart projections report that Nicki MInaj's "Pink Friday 2" has already amassed over 500,000 album-equivalent units in her first week, making it eligible already for a RIAA Gold certification.

What Are The Best Tracks From Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday 2'?

According to Billboard, the top song from Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday 2" is easily her collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, the energy-pumping "Everybody." Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's daughter seemed to echo the choice already as she had already danced to the song on TikTok, wearing the same "Barbie" necklace she had her when she was still younger.

Similarly, Complex agrees with "Everybody" while also citing "Beep Beep" as another top song.
