Madame Tussauds Sydney unveiled their new wax figure, modeled after Ariana Grande, however, the singer's fans found the figure both offensive and hilarious.
Netizens shared their brutally honest opinion regarding Grande's new wax figure, reports say.
"Someone tell Madame Tussaud it's time to find another hobby," a netizen wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
"Me trying to find the resemblance," another added with a meme of a woman squinting.
"Adriana Venti, is that you?"
"Someone tell Ariana to stop changing ethnicities."
"That's not Ariana Grande that's Paige Niemann..."
A netizen also shared a theory they found online regarding Madame Tussaud: "Someone said Tussaud's makes their wax figures purposely unrecognizable to get engagement and stay relevant and i fear they may be right."
Ariana Grande's Wax Figures Look Nothing Like Her?
According to reports, this is not the first time Grande's likeness was copied and made into a wax figure.
Madame Tussauds unveiled another figure of the "Dangerous Woman" singer back in 2019, and it also garnered horrendous reviews among fans.
Even other celebrities' wax figures were "unrecognizable," and netizens also mocked those figures, like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's wax figure by Musée Grévin in Paris.
"They turned The Rock into a pebble," James Jefferson, a YouTuber, said. "They done turned The Rock into a vinyl rock or something like that. It looks like The Rock ain't never seen the sun a day in his life."
"Dwayne Johnson is right, and we noticed it and will obviously remedy it as quickly as possible and send him new photos once completed," wrote Musée Grévin regarding the backlash.

Ariana Grande Retuns to The Scene
The wax figure's unveiling comes a week after Grande revealed that she will be releasing her seventh studio album.
According to reports, after releasing "Positions" two years ago, Grande jumped right into her acting career once again after being cast as Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming movie musical, "Wicked."
A few months ago, Grande denied working on an album: "This is a question I'm nervous to answer, but I feel like I want to have a little bit of transparency and honesty with my fans.
"The truth is, I have not begun an album. I hear through the grapevine that you have a lot of theories and expectations in that department."
However, the "pov" singer is now actively back in the recording studio and working on new music. She has shared several pictures of her recording sessions via Instagram.
