Nicki Minaj has one requirement before she returns to "American Idol."
In 2013, Minaj joined Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban to judge the participants of the show's 12th season. She only stayed for a year, but she has a huge demand if she will ever be offered a seat again.
Will Nicki Minaj Become an "American Idol" Judge Again?
On Thursday, December 14, Minaj appeared on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" and participated in the show's "Please the Fifth" segment.
Andy Cohen asked her about the amount that would make her say "yes" to "American Idol" if she receives an invitation from the show to become one of the judges.
"Well, uh... $30 [million]," she said. "Yeah."
As of press time, "American Idol" has yet to share whether it sees Minaj on the judging panel again. However, she made a notable stint at the music competition show, especially when she and Carey clashed during the season's auditions.
For what it's worth, the co-judges argued several times because of their contrasting styles and way of critique. Things got worse when the rapper told the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" hitmaker that she "should just get off the f------ panel" before walking off the stage. The feud caused the show to shut down its production a bit.
Currently, "American Idol" has Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie as the judges.
