Scarface has brought some of his southern rap classics to life in an NPR's Tiny Desk Concert.

For the much-anticipated performance, the Geto Boys legend brought on board his longtime producer and collaborator Mike Dean, as well as a live band and backing singers.

Facemob began the set by introducing everybody in his band. "I guess I call myself the curator - I don't know if you wanna call me the DJ, the conductor, the railroad, but my name is Facemob," he said. "And we came here to jam for y'all tonight. This morning. Whenever the f** it is."

With Dean adding his signature synths into the set, Facemob performed beautiful renditions of hits such as "On My Block," "Mary Jane," "I Seen a Man Die" , and "Mind Mind Playing Tricks on Me."

Of course, the Texas native showed love to 2Pac by performing their 1997 collaboration, "Smile" and asked the intimate audience to "save a prayer" for the late rap legend.

He also made it a family affair, bringing out his son Bryce towards the end of the set and praising him as an "exceptional musician" who is "4,000 times better than I'll ever be."
