Two music icons are competing for the coveted 2024 Glastonbury Legends slot.
On the last day of the festival, Dame Shirley Bassey, Kylie Minogue, Lionel Richie, and Dolly Parton have all performed during the tea time slot on the Pyramid Stage.
According to Daily Mail UK, Shania Twain and Chaka Khan are reportedly the two most likely competitors for this year's festival, which is scheduled to take place at Worthy Down Farm from June 26 to 30.
Both pop stars have open dates for the festival weekend, and Emily Eavis, the event's organizer, has already stated that a woman will be this year's Legend, as reported by the Sun.
There hasn't been a decision made regarding the Legend slot because the festival's organizers took far longer than normal to select its three headliners.
However, Shania and Chaka are at the top of the list, have shown interest, and are keeping the date open. Notably, Chaka, 70, has blocked out the Glastonbury weekend in her calendar in anticipation of her summertime UK tour. Shania,58, will begin her residency in Las Vegas in May, after which she will be free until the middle of August.

The "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" singer played her cards close to the vest when The Sun recently asked if she would be interested in accepting the coveted role, but she did say it would be a "dream come true." Cat Stevens was the Legends player from the previous year.
Stars like Cher, Bruce Springsteen, Dua Lipa, and seasoned headliners Coldplay are among those predicted to be in the race to headline. Four previous times as the main act, Coldplay was in 2002, 2005, 2011, and 2016.
The organizers of Glastonbury have faced criticism for selecting an excessive number of male performers as the main performances in recent years.
The top three acts last year were Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, and Sir Elton John; the lineup was all male. Meanwhile, Cher has 'confirmed' that she will perform at Glastonbury 2024, stating that she would be thrilled to do so.
Following years of rejection, Cher made it clear to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that she was no longer interested in becoming a member.
During an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on Friday, the musical superstar disclosed that she is still not inducted into the Hall of Fame. While talking about her achievement of being one of only two musicians to have a number one single on the charts in each of the previous seven decades, she made the revelation.
Kelly voiced her surprise that Cher was not inducted into the Hall of Fame, to which the older hitmaker retorted, saying, "You know what, if they gave me a million dollars, I wouldn't be in it now."
After the Moonstruck actress revealed the information, the host was shocked and had her mouth hanging wide. Cher assured her that she wasn't "kidding" and then joked that she was "about to say something else."
