Venezuelan rapper Canserbero's death had previously been ruled as a murder-suicide eight years ago; however, his former manager, María Natalia Améstica, confessed to murdering him.
According to reports, police initially thought Canserbero, whose real name was Tirone José González Orama, got into an altercation with his music producer Carlos Molnar, stabbing him to death before he committed suicide by jumping off a building.
However, Améstica confessed to killing both Canserbero and Molnar because she became enraged with the pair over money matters in the rapper's tour.
She also claimed that the rapper no longer wanted her to be his manager.
Améstica shared her confession through a video that spanned 4:40 minutes, taking responsibility for the double homicide.
Canserbero's Mysterious Death Finally Uncovered
Améstica named her accomplice in the murders--her brother, Guillermo Améstica. She also had a relationship with Molnar for over a decade.
"This hurt me a lot and left me with a lot of internal pain," she said before recalling the details of the night of the murders.
"I was left with a lot of internal suffering because of the disdain," she added.
"Tyrone saw me and was very worried, but he was also sleepy. I explained that it was an attack of rage, that I hadn't been able to control myself," Améstica continued, noting that she killed Molnar first; she stabbed him in the neck, back, and arm.
She also revealed that she had spiked Canserbero's tea with a tranquilizer called Alpram. "He [Canserbero] collapsed on the sofa asleep and I stabbed him twice in the side. In desperation, I then called my brother Guillermo to help me resolve the situation."

Guillermo also played a pivotal role in the murders; Améstica shared that her brother also delivered blows to both the rapper and the music producer to convince the authorities that there had been an altercation between the two.
According to reports, the siblings threw Caserbero out the window before Guillermo fled the scene; it was Améstica who reported the crime to the police.
Venezuelan authorities shared that "110 investigative steps were taken and 13 trips were made to Maracay [crime site] to gather the new evidence that allowed the case to be clarified."
Reports note that Canserbero is one of the "greatest Spanish-language singers of all time." He dropped several hit songs like "Pensando en ti", "Es épico", "C'est la mort", "Maquiavélico", and more.
