Scott Kingsley Swift sparked fury after a leaked email allegedly showed his resentment toward his daughter, Taylor Swift.

Taylor's former manager Daniel Dymtrow dropped the bombshell lawsuit nearly two decades after managing the singer for two and a half years, starting when she was 13. Along with the filing was a lengthy email from her father, Scott, in which he vented about his family.

What Did Scott Kingsley Swift Say in the Email?

The Mirror reported about Swifties' accusations against Scott Kingsley, saying the patriarch showed signs he resents his daughter in the email. The communication in question showed him offering a bizarre rant about doing his best to help Taylor in pursuing her career,

He said in one email, "Who gets to go to New York, New England and every cool appearance? Not dad. Can't fix hair. Dad talks too much. Who pays for trips to New York? Dad. I am going to do anything that I think is appropriate to do to advance Taylor's career. Finally, if you want to get rid of me, please forward this to Andrea."

After the release of the email, Swifties took to X to blast Scott Kingsley, while other fans also defended him.

One said, "So this is just him feeling sorry for himself and thinking if it wasn't for HIM Taylor wouldn't be famous?!? He is throwing a hissy fit because he isn't getting credit for her talent and he paid for things And watched his other child. You know things parents should do?!?"

One defended the patriarch, "this is NOT a scott swift hate account and if i see you talking bad about him just because of an email from 18 years ago i will block <3"

Amid the buzz, The Mirror clarified that Scott Kingsley expressed his burning desire to bring his daughter to the spotlight in one part of the email.

What the Lawsuit Claims Revealed

Dymtrow claimed in his lawsuit that the Swift's family paid him less than $10,000 for his work in helping the singer reach her dreams. He also alleged that the family promised they would support him financially.

The Swifts have yet to respond to the filing.
