Why Perrie Edwards Hasn't Released Solo Music Yet
It has been a while since Little Mix announced their hiatus in 2021, after wrapping up their "Confetti" tour in 2022.
According to reports, the singer expressed her worries about releasing music as a solo artist. "Anyone else gets this weird feeling come over them at New Year?
"Like the feeling of self-doubt starts creeping in, or sudden thoughts of worry that you didn't achieve enough this year float around in your head"
"I always feel it. It's strange. Remember you're enough. Just getting through the year sometimes is tough enough in itself," she continued.
Edwards hoped for "more peace" in 2024 in her New Year post and noted that she will be even more grateful for her family, loved ones, and blessings.
Little Mix Announce Hiatus
Little Mix surprised fans when they announced that they would be taking a break from group activities in 2021.
"We're sisters and we'll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever. See you on tour!" the girl group said in a statement.
"We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix. It's been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects."
Since then, only Pinnock has released solo music, while Edwards and Jade Thirlwall continue to tease upcoming releases.
