Perrie Edwards has come to the rescue of her beleaguered fashion venture, which found itself in a financial predicament, recording a staggering loss of nearly $229,300.
In the fiscal year of 2022, Indigo Aura Limited, the driving force behind Perrie's Disora brand, experienced losses amounting to a substantial $70.555. This figure added to the losses incurred in the previous year, which amounted to $107,004, and the initial trading year's losses of $53,041.
Perrie boldly chose to rise to the director position as she also owns 50% of the company.
The debut collection of Disora, known as DS001, achieved tremendous success by selling out ultimately within just two days.
However, some voices of critique emerged, questioning the brand's lack of inclusivity for larger-sized women by not offering adequate size options.
But Perrie did something to save the company.
The documents submitted to Companies House stated, as seen by The Sun: "The director has a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future."
Perrie expressed her surprise earlier this year when she admitted: "When I embarked on this business venture, I had no idea it would turn out like this. I had assumed it would be a piece of cake!"
Navigating through challenges can be arduous, adding they gradually find our rhythm. Errors are inevitable, and we handle them with resilience.
Fortunately, her journey with Little Mix has resulted in an impressive fortune of $22 million providing her with financial stability.
