George Michael might have died in 2016, but his legacy will continue to live over the next generations thanks to the power of technology as he's set to return to the stage this 2025; how is it possible?
According to Daily Mail UK, the musician will be commemorated and fans will be able to watch him perform his massive hits with the use of hologram.
The singer will make his big comeback as early as 2025 as revealed by documents filed at Companies House.
There has been a debate within the music industry if it's alright to use the likes of celebrities who passed away, but Michael's Wham! bandmate, Andrew Ridgely, appeared to agree with the concept.
As reported by Smooth Radio, Ridgely said he "absolutely loved" the way ABBA had their hologram concerts and he wanted to see him and Michael together on stage through technology.
However, he admitted that there will be hurdles along the way, adding, "Of course, there are ethical questions. And that decision would be a mutual decision between myself and [George Michael's] estate, should it ever come to it."
Not Everyone Agrees With George Michael's Hologram
Although Ridgely loved the concept, the late singer's former collaborator, David Austin, was not on board of the idea of a holographic concert.
In 2022, he expressed his true feelings about the matter, saying, 'We were going to see if we could do a hologram idea in the middle of the Royal Albert Hall. But I went around to some people who did the Tupac hologram and they were really s***. 'The problem with holograms is people just don't engage, 20 minutes in, people are on their phone. There won't be a 'HoloWham'."

As of this writing, details behind the upcoming hologram shows have yet to be released.
Hologram concerts have been common over the past few years and one of the most successful iterations was ABBA's series of concerts.
Late musicians like Tupac and Whitney Houston also had their own shows with the help of technology.
