Anderson .Paak and his wife Jaylyn Chang are going their separate ways after 13 years of marriage; what happened to the couple?
According to Us Weekly Magazine, the 1/2 of Silk Sonic filed for divorce on January 12, 2024. Although details behind their breakup has not been publicized, he cited "irreconcilable differences" as the main reason for the separation.
The couple had two children together: 13-year-old Soul Rasheed and 6-year-old Shrine Tariq. The musician is asking the court for them to share legal and physical custody of the kids.
He also requested to terminate the ability of the court to award himself or his estranged wife any spousal support.
Through the years, it was reported that the couple tied the knot in 2011, but court documents revealed that they got married in November 2010.
.Paak had been married prior to Chang as he revealed in a previous interview that he already had a wife when he was 21 years old. They only lasted for two years and he considered his relationship with Chang as the only one that matters.

Throughout their more than a decade marriage, the couple had been private with their romance but they would sometimes appear on red carpet events as a family.
However, the Economic Times reported that Chang was a music student at the Musicians Institute of Hollywood.
During the early years of their relationship, the pair had problems because .Paak reportedly worked at a marijuana farm in Santa Barbara, but he was dismissed which led to their homelessness.
In other details about Chang, the musician said his then-wife immigrated from Korea to the United States without the knowledge of English.
He and Chang met at a gospel class where he was hired as a band member.
"These things that I've gotten - like, my family, my wife, my son - have all been byproducts or whatever of my passion for music," he said.
