Ariana DeBose and Bella Ramsey hug it out at the Emmy Awards, a day after the latter shared an "unfunny" joke about the former during the Critics Choice Awards a day prior.
According to reports, Ramsey was introducing the nominees for Best Song at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards when they took a jab at DeBose.
Ramsey began introducing the nominees like Billie Eilish, Lenny Kravitz, and Dua Lipa, before adding: "Then there are the actors who think they're singers: Jack Black, Ariana DeBose, and Ken himself, Ryan Gosling."
DeBose took to Instagram to share her thoughts about the joke: "No, I didn't find it funny. Lol."
Netizens were shocked to hear about the joke, since the actress slash singer was included in the original cast of the Broadway musical, "Hamilton."
Ariana DeBose, Bella Ramsey End Day-Old Feud
According to reports, it was later shown that the pair made up a day later, during the Emmy Awards, after Evan Ross Katz shared a picture of the two hugging.
"Incredible!" He wrote. "Here's Bella Ramsey and Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose hugging at tonight's Emmy Awards."
Netizens could not help but point out that the "The last of Us" star was most likely just reading off of a script provided to them.
"Bella was probably just given a script to follow," one wrote.
"It's truly a beautiful gesture after that unsuitable joke."
"Forgiveness... can you imagineeeee?"
"Bella literally read the teleprompter and I'm sure Ariana knows that... go after whoever wrote it," another added.
Ariana DeBose, Bella Ramsey Accused of Being Zionists
Amid the sweet comments of fans congratulating the pair for making up, numerous netizens claimed that DeBose and Ramsey are zionists.
"It be two dumb ass Zionists getting together and saying 'exactly,'" one wrote.
"They had a 1 on 1. zionist to zionist."
According to Britannica, Zionism is a Jewish nationalist movement that has the goal of "creation and support of a Jewish national state in Palestine, the ancient homeland of the Jews."
DeBose and Ramsey are not the only celebrities who have been accused of being zionists; Noah Schnapp, Selena Gomez, and many more have also been linked to zionist ideology.
The claims have been thrown around following the conflict between Israel and Hamas over the Gaza Strip.
Neither celebrity has confirmed not denied being Zionist.
