Boy George has been unabashedly honest in his new memoir, "Karma: My Autobiography," in which he painstakingly detailed every interaction she had with people in the entertainment industry - whether it was a great interaction or not.
Now, she has gunned down for Madonna, after she took a dig at Janet Jackson in the earlier revelations.
Boy George, Madonna Feud Explored
According to an excerpt from his memoir, "Karma," Boy George revealed that he has a rocky history with the music icon. In his recollection of an event in the '80s, Boy George revealed that Madonna had ignored him at the opening of the Palladium in New York City at the time.
"Madonna arrived with Sean Penn and pretended she didn't see me," he wrote in his memoir. She allegedly refused to shake his hand and his friends, saying "Ugh, I don't know where it's been."
"He replied, 'By my side all night.' I told him he should have poked it in her eye," George recalled.
Meanwhile, The Messenger described Boy George's commentary on Madonna as "balanced," saying that there is as much praise as there are jabs.
"I know for a fact she's too full of herself to even mention me. She once said, 'Boy George was mean to me in the '80s and he's still mean.' To be fair, I haven't really been given the opportunity," he further wrote. "Every gay man loves Madonna and there's no one gayer than me. Her fans always try to defend her when I make a joke or a jibe. They are mostly missing the point." He writes that he loves "some" of her records, yet he "would assume she'd have issue with the word 'some.' ... I have a sense of humour, I don't think Madonna does, despite some of the clothes she wears (LOL)."
Madonna wasn't the first person that Boy George had name-checked in his memoir. In earlier excerpts revealed to the media, it was Janet Jackson.

"When it comes to me and Janet, let's wait a while," he cheekily teased in his autobiography. "She wasn't friendly and didn't try to be. But I just walked off and got myself into my best 'Boy George' and was walking around backstage to make sure I was seen by everyone."
Boy George was unapologetically himself - saying that when a crew of Jackson had approached him to record a message for her - he had this to say: "Next time you meet someone, be nice."
