In the 90s, Grand Ole Opry member Hal Ketchum was a big name in country music. Ten albums, 15 top 10 hits and 5 million record sales was nothing to sneeze at. But after his 2008 release, 'Father Time,' he seemed to disappear. Last year, he turned back up online with an official web site, news of new music and a few shows here and there. Now, it appears that Ketchum is back full force with a new album due out in October

Multi-platinum selling recording artist Sara Evans' new single went to radio a couple of weeks ago on July 21st. "Can't Stop Loving You," a duet with Isaac Slade from the Fray, is the second release from her March album, 'Slow Me Down.' • Family Force 5's "Time Stands Still" Shows a Band that IS NOT Standing Still at All

With Solomon Olds (SoulGlow Activatur) no longer being on the mic, the sound is new - yet familiar. While Jacob Olds (Crouton) and Josh Olds (Fatty) have their own sounds and textures, the new music still sounds like FF5. The sense of playfulness is there, but there is new purpose that shows the world that the band isn't standing still, trying to figure out where to go next.
  • Tim McGraw is Helping Give Military Families Homes

It seems that some are still so busy talking about Tim McGraw slapping a woman who was trying to rip his pants off that they're totally missing the boat on what he's doing to help our military personnel.
  • Working Out ala Country Style

Shape Magazine is all about working out, so when they put out a country workout playlist, it shouldn't have been a surprise. The thing is, their list seems to be more about raising your heartbeat from the "sexy" factor than the actual beats per minute (BPM) making you move a little faster. While yes, the guys that they feature are all good looking, finding the right music to motivate takes more than how well the singer fills out a pair of blue jeans!
