Any true guitar enthusiast would be honored to perform with Bob Weir, frontman for the legendary Grateful Dead. Being able to play lead guitar alongside Weir means filling in a role that was once held by iconic axeman Jerry Garcia, and John Mayer was all for it last week during his guest host stint on "The Late Late Show." The pair collaborated on Dead tunes like "Truckin'" and "Althea." -
John Mayer Interviews Katy Perry's Left Shark and Andy Cohen on 'Late Late Show'
Ever since Craig Ferguson left the "Late Late Show" on CBS, the network has had a patchwork of different hosts that have included actors, comedians and musicians like Wayne Brady, Sean Hayes, Thomas Lennon and now John Mayer. Mayer hosted the episode last night, Feb. 4, and after a monologue, kicked off the show with the two Katy Perry Super Bowl halftime show sharks on the program. Unfortunately, they were not able to speak for themselves because they are sharks, but an interpreter and agent was there to spray them down with a small spray bottle and express what they were thinking in human tongue. He interviewed Left Shark and Andy Cohen. -
No Prenup Means That Giada De Laurentiis Is Battling Ex Todd Thompson Over Millions
When Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson tied the knot in 2003, signing a prenup was not much of a thought. At that point he was likely worth more than she was, but that changed quickly because by the time they had reached their first anniversary, De Laurentiis had garnered mainstream success. That was the year when she began working with the Food Network, and from that point on the money began rolling in. Now, 12 years later, the couple's financial records are starting to be dissected, and that supposedly amicable divorce is reportedly beginning to get a little bit messy. -
John Mayer Talks Up 'Late Late Show' Guest Stint on Twitter: 'Insanity Guaranteed' for February Dates
Craig Ferguson's departure from "The Late Late Show" was sort of ignored by the general public, considering the other late-night moves. David Letterman is leaving "The Late Show" and will be replaced by Stephen Colbert, effectively changing the format of two beloved time slots. Comedian James Corden was not able to fill in for Ferguson immediately, so some guest hosts including Jim Gaffigan, Judd Apatow and John Mayer will fill the void. The guitarist recently took to Twitter to promise an awesome guest lineup for his February dates, "Billboard" notes. -

Did 'Today's' Matt Lauer Have an Affair with Giada De Laurentiis?
Giada De Laurentiis has been plagued with rumors ever since announcing her split from husband Todd Thompson last week. She has been accused of cheating on her soon-to-be-ex with several different men, and while De Laurentiis is denying all accusations of infidelity, there is one that is raising eyebrows. The celebrity chef has been accused of hooking up with the host of "The Today Show," Matt Lauer, who is often the subject of cheating rumors himself.According to Page Six, De Laurentiis denies getting cozy with the married Lauer in 2011 in Barbados, where he was filming a segment for the NBC morning news program. The problem is that Lauer has been accused of cheating on his long-suffering wife Annette Rogue, with numerous women over the course of their 17-year marriage. Even just a few weeks ago we told you about how Lauer chose to spend last summer holed up in his New York City apartment rather than out in the Hamptons with his wife and children. That was after NBC agreed to have a helicopter fly him to and from work each day so he could be close to his family all summer. It is Lauer's dicey history that is making many wonder if something did happen a few years ago with De Laurentiis. -

Did an Affair with John Mayer Ruin Giada De Laurentiis’s Marriage?
It seems that many of Giada De Laurentiis's fans were shocked to learn that she is ready to divorce her husband of 11 years, Todd Thompson. The television chef issued a statement that painted a pretty civil picture of two grown adults simply deciding they need to move on in as kind a way as possible. Unfortunately, behind the scenes De Laurentiis has reportedly been cheating for years."After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage. Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths. Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything. We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change," said the official statement by the chef.According to a report by Radar Online, she was actually caught cheating with John Mayer in fall 2010. The two had reportedly met years earlier, but saw each other again in the Boom Boom Room at The Standard in New York City. The source claims that as soon as they saw each other, they left the room moments apart and were caught intertwined together. Supposedly they left to go to a different hotel together. -
