  • Michael Jackson Gets Animated in Bizarre New Interview Featuring Janet Jackson for PBS's 'Blank on Blank' Series

We certainly have some odd memories of Michael Jackson from his last few decades but a new release once again confirms that his quirkiness ran long and deep. Childish Gambino is hard at work on his third album, STN MTN / KAUAI, and is coming off the Hot 100 hit "3005" from his most recent record, Because The Internet. Now he feels like he is on top of his game and is no longer threatened by another actor-turned-rapper: Drake. As Billboard notes, Gambino (born Donald Glover) spoke with Hot 97's Pete Rosenberg last night at the Grammy Museum's Clive Davis Theater in downtown L.A. about his career and later took the stage to perform a short 5-song set, which included his freshly released track "Sober," for a small group of attendees.

This may be hard to believe, but award shows don't always make the right choice, and the Video Music Awards is certainly no exception. Here are five videos that should have won Video of the Year.
  • 9 Great Cameos from Musicians on 'The Simpsons': Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Weird Al and More

The cultural impact of The Simpsons is immeasurable, as you can tell from checking out Joey "Sideshow Joe" DeGroot's list on the number of bands that named songs (or themselves) after references to the animated classic. Celebrities of all stripes realize the kind of power that such a program packs so they'll readily appear as guest stars. • Nicki Minaj Has More Hot 100 Singles Than Michael Jackson, Thanks To 'Anaconda'

Here's a bit of news that I totally didn't expect: as of yesterday, rapper Nicki Minaj has appeared on more Billboard Hot 100 singles than the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. Though Jackson's two posthumous singles "Slave to the Rhythm" and "Love Never Felt So Good" gave him his 49th and 50th charting singles earlier this year, he was beat out by Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda," which became her 51st charting single when it debuted at no. 19.

We all know Michael Jackson had some problems … especially those accusations of sexual abuse. But also, it turns out the King of Pop was a bit of a slob. Actually, a lot. • Michael Jackson Accused Of Sexual Abuse For Third Time

Although Michael Jackson passed away at age 50 back in 2009, the King of Pop has been hit with yet another allegation of sexual abuse. As reported by E! • 9 Solo Artists Who Are Better Than Their Bands: Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, And More

How many times have you been disappointed by a solo album from a member of one of your favorite bands? Sometimes they're outright bad, but even the good ones (Morrissey, Paul McCartney, etc.) simply can't compare to their old bands.
