Kelly Rowland went viral on social media over the past few days after she could be seen arguing with a security guard at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. It turns out she was not the only celebrity who had an issue with the female staffer.

More recently, Massiel Taveras, a Dominican actress who was filmed having a heated argument with the same woman, took to her official Instagram stories to praise the Destiny's Child member.

Taveras shared an image report of the singer on social media in which she addressed her viral altercation. The actress praised Rowland, writing "Queen" in the caption.

In a separate story where a photo of the "When Love Takes Over" hitmaker could be seen, the Dominican star wrote, "We neeed respect."

The recent news comes after Taveras walked the iconic steps of France's Cannes Film Festival red carpet. In a viral video, the actress could be seen showcasing her massive white cape featuring a portrait of Jesus Christ.

However, her bodyguards appeared to disagree with her decision to flaunt the long cape. They constantly spoke to her and even dragged their clothing.

By the time she reached the top of the staircase, the argument between Taveras and the female staff member had become intense, to the point that the actress pushed her away.

In a latest Instagram post, the actress has finally addressed the matter and praised Rowland even more in a lengthy caption.

"I want to thank all of you for this incredible support, today more than ever we need to stay together , suport eachether protect our souls , have strong boundaries and stand for our rights, let's show some love and respect to the extraordinary @kellyrowland," she wrote.

Taveras added that the singer has a pure soul, is talented, classy, and is an educated woman of color who represents herself respectfully.

"We are not going to be in silence on situations like that," she added.

Fans later pointed out on social media that Rowland and Taveras weren't the only people with an issue with the female staffer. Many users noted that Korean star YoonA also experienced the same thing on the first day of the Cannes Film Festival.

As she walked up the stage, the Korean musician could be seen waving and smiling to fans, but the female staffer appeared to have expanded her arms to block the singer.
