Andrea Bocelli revealed in a recent interview that he wanted to impress his 12-year-old daughter Virginia and to do that, he had to collaborate with one of the biggest pop stars in the world, Taylor Swift.
The singer spoke to Mirror UK before his show at BST Hyde Park, where he shared his thoughts about having a duet with the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker.
His daughter, Virginia, also spoke to the outlet, sharing that Swift is her favorite singer and that she's going to see one of her Eras Tour concerts in a few days.

Interviewer Tom Bryant said, "It would be amazing if he worked with her next," to which Andrea Bocelli responded, "I've thought about it, and it could be a great thing."
In the same interview, Bocelli looked back at the 1991 free concert by the renowned Luciano Pavarotti at Hyde Park in London to celebrate his 30 years in the industry.
"I remember watching it on the television, Pavarotti was incredible... I remember Diana being there and the sheer amount of people. It was just so moving," he said.
Decades later, Bocelli is set to perform at the same venue, also celebrating his 30th year in the music industry, but even though he has been a famous personality for many years now, the musician admitted that he still feels the jitters.
"I am a little bit nervous, to be honest. It will be such a historic moment, but one I am looking forward to," he said. The performance will be special as he will be joined by his son, Matteo, and his daughter, Virginia.
"When she sings it makes me very happy... Children have to be free, and I hope that when she is older, she does what her heart tells her," Bocelli, who is determined not to put too much pressure on her, said of his 12-year-old child.
Bocelli will make history for being the first classical artist to headline the American Express presents BST Hyde Park. In addition to his children, he will also be joined by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Later on, Robbie Williams and Shania Twain will also perform headlining acts.
Matteo's solo set will be from 5:10 to 5:50 p.m., Katherine Jenkins will perform from 6:30 to 7:20 p.m., and Bocelli will take that stage from 8 to 10 p.m.
