Mariah Carey is gearing up to light up Las Vegas once again with her third residency, The Celebration of Mimi, slated to run from April 12 to April 27 at Dolby Live in Park MGM. This exclusive engagement, occurring on select dates (April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27), marks the 19th anniversary of her iconic album, The Emancipation of Mimi, released on April 12, 2005.

According to a statement released by Billboard, the Las Vegas shows will feature beloved tracks from The Emancipation of Mimi along with other hits from Carey's illustrious career.

Recognized as her "comeback album," The Emancipation of Mimi produced chart-toppers like "We Belong Together" and "Shake It Off," solidifying its place as one of Carey's most successful records.

Returning to the Strip for another remarkable stint, The Celebration of Mimi residency, presented by Live Nation and MGM Resorts, follows Carey's previous residencies at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Her shows, #1 to Infinity (2015-2017) and The Butterfly Returns (2018-2020), showcased her unparalleled talent and extensive catalog of hits. While #1 to Infinity highlighted her chart-topping singles, The Butterfly Returns focused on Carey's vocal prowess, featuring a set list of 23 powerful songs.

Since 2020, Carey has predominantly focused on her holiday music performances, but her upcoming Las Vegas residency marks a thrilling return to the stage.

With ticket sales opening to the public on Saturday, February 10 for the specified dates, fans have the chance to secure their spot at this limited engagement. With only eight dates scheduled, Carey's approach seems reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson's successful Las Vegas strategy. After a sold-out 10-date run of Chemistry last year, Clarkson has continued to return for select weekends, hinting at the possibility of additional dates for Carey's residency in the future.
